Wizarding World Holiday Trunk

The Wizarding World Holiday Trunk

Last year, in a conference room in Los Angeles, two Muggles (re: non magical humans) had the idea to bring the magic of Hogwarts to doorsteps across America and Canada. We pitched a never-before-done collaboration with the Wizards at Warner Bros. + Universal Studios, and Uber Eats said “when do we start?” Thus, the Wizarding World Holiday Trunk was born.

THE TRUNK

Modeled after the trunk Harry brings to Hogwarts his first year, the Wizarding World Holiday Trunk started magically appearing online a week before release.

Inside the trunk, Muggles found everything they needed to bring Hogwarts to their living room - including a Gingerbread Hogwarts, their own acceptance letter, and a one-of-a-kind AR experience. Once it was released, the trunk sold out in markets within minutes, causing the Uber Eats app to crash.

THE CASTLE

The Gingerbread Hogwarts came with 9 iconic cookies, Bertie Botts Every Flavor jelly beans, and chocolate frogs; along with decorations so Muggles could customize their castle.

AR

Using their acceptance letter, Muggles unlocked a magical AR experience.

Once they scanned the letter, a message reveal itself inviting them to play three different games: The Flying Car Adventure, Quidditch, and Spell Casting 101 which unlocked a spectacular light show after saying “Lumos Maxima Hogwarts Castle”.
